GLUTEN-FREE | DAIRY-FREE
Make this colorful Halloween candy with only two ingredients: dried peaches and dark chocolate. It's naturally sweet because there's no added sugar. And it's a good source of antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C.
Ingredients:
- Unsweetened dried peaches, cut into bite-size strips
- 72% dark chocolate
Method:
- Cover a sheet pan or cutting board with wax paper or parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate in a glass or stainless steel bowl set atop a pan of gently simmering water. Once the chocolate is just melted, remove it from the heat. Do not over-heat the chocolate.
- Dip each strip in the melted chocolate and place it on the prepared surface.
- Transfer the chocolate-dipped peach strips to the fridge to set. After an hour, transfer them to an air-tight container. Take them out of the fridge in advance so they have time to warm up a bit before you serve them. The chocolate will melt quickly if you touch it, so arrange them on a serving plate straight from the fridge while they are still cold, then allow them to come to room temperature.
